We believe fantasy battles should be massive, armies should be huge, and getting the game played shouldn’t take all day.

Who we are

We’re Sam and Geoff, lifelong wargamers with a passion for epic fantasy, incredible miniatures and the spectacle of armies clashing across the battlefield. Having played all sorts of tabletop wargames over the years, we wanted to create something that captured everything we love about the hobby – the thrill of commanding vast forces, the satisfaction of building and painting your own armies, and the fun of sharing a great game or two with friends.

That’s why we founded Screaming Iron Studios and created Drakarith, a fantasy wargame built around the spectacle of battle on a massive scale. With 15mm miniatures, you can build enormous armies, bring them to life with your own painting and modelling, and field them in battles that are fast, exciting and easy to get stuck into. We’re not just here to make another wargame; we’re here because we genuinely love this hobby, the creativity it inspires and the fantasy worlds that make it so special. We want to share that passion with fellow gamers and make massive fantasy battles more accessible to everyone.

What we are making

Drakarith is fought in 15mm. Units are ranked on stands rather than based individually, so a force that would fill a table in a larger scale fits on a smaller one — and a battle line looks like a battle line.

It comes as a rulebook and six army books, each carrying its own entries, equipment, special rules and army list. Every entry prints its own stat line and its own price; the card is the rule. Alongside the books is a range of miniatures designed for the game.
